A Great Leap Forward For A Noble Cause

Marron Treks has recently tied up to a non-profit social organization named “Himalayan Garden For Disabled & Orphan Children (HIGADOC), Nepal”. HIGADOC was conceptualized as a healing garden where all the underprivileged and physically stunted children of Nepal would get their fair share out of life and mould themselves into successful personas and ideal citizens of tomorrow. This organization is the brainchild of a young tourism entrepreneur, Mr. Durga Lal Tamang, who always aspires to render altruistic service to the society. With the help of his few Dutch clients that he has been serving till date, Mr. Tamang moved forward carrying the baton of HIGADOC in the year 2003 and since then there has been no turning back. The mission that commenced with mere 2 children has now expanded to a group of 18. HIGADOC has been looking after all the basic necessities and education of all these 18 children.

Marron Treks feels privileged to join hands with this esteemed organization in an effort to uplift the lives of these 18 children and many more to come in the near future. Henceforth, Marron Treks will be contributing a certain portion of its sales proceeds to HIGADOC, which in turn will use the amount for the overall development of the needy children. The managing director of Marron Treks, Mr. Ram Kumar Adhikari and the president of HIGADOC, Nepal, Mr. Durga Lal Tamang (right and left respectively in the picture above) signed the memorandum of understanding on August 26, 2015.

Now what does this mean to you as a client? Well, by signing up a trip with Marron Treks, you are not just investing on your sheer recreation, but also contributing to uplift the lives of the disabled, orphan and abandoned children of Nepal. A certain portion of the money that you pay for this trip goes out to our social partner organization, HIGADOC, which in turn uses the proceeds to execute this noble cause.

So, give your every adventure a tint of magnanimity; help lighten up the lives of the helpless children of Nepal.
